All right, so May hasn’t been the best month for me, creatively speaking. My output has definitely fallen this month.
But fear not! For I am not dead by any means, and more stories are coming. Along with my review on Troy: Fall of A City.
June, in point of fact, should be a great month. So stay tuned!

I’m back, and I gotta tell you: there’s nothing like pretending other people don’t exist for four days. It’s rejuvenating in the extreme; you guys should try it sometime.
Anyway, I’m back, working on mapping out new chapters, a new novel and my review of Troy: Fall of A City. And one thing that’s been bugging me throughout all of this is body types and shapes.
And man do I have some thoughts on the subject.

As the firing subsides in Gaza and Israel (at least for a while) so the post-mortem on the attendant aspects of the conflict has begun. Adding a substantial contribution to the already much discussed issue of the media coverage of the conflict and of Israel in general is a lengthy piece by a former Associated Press staffer, Matti Friedman in which he politely lambasts his former employer along with other foreign media organizations for bias and fuelling the fires of anti-Semitism that have flared around the world.
As a former correspondent (for the BBC) in Israel and the Palestinian Territories as well as a UN official based in Jerusalem the piece piqued my interest and caused me to reflect also upon my own experiences.

All right, so they aren’t technical. But I have spent the last two weeks in a bruising fight with one of the dog-sitting services I’m on, and it’s left me somewhat drained creatively.
So! What does that mean? It means their probably won’t be an update on any of my fiction for a while. In the meantime, I’m going to finish sketching out the next few arcs for all of my fiction and continue switching over to a new word processor. I’ll also get out some thoughts on Troy: Fall of A City.
