Sicker Than A Dog, But Tomorrow Is Dinosaurs!

I’ve been sick for the past week and a half (not Covid!), so I obviously have done no writing whatsoever.

I’m still sick, but feeling a lot better.

That’s not what I want to talk about, though. I want to talk about dinosaurs.

Specifically, Apple TV+’s new dinosaur documentary, Prehistoric Planet. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, it’s a five-night special with up to date CGI, feathered dinosaurs (accurately feathered, too; none of this ‘glue feathers on JP lizards’ nonsense), rare dinos like Deinocheirus, Nanuqsaurus and Pachyrinosaurus, complex animal behaviours instead of just marauding monsters, baby Triceratops and T. rexes….

It’s gonna be so cool, guys. I strongly recommend you watch it. And if you don’t have Apple TV+, no worries! They offer a free, seven day trial. Just sign up and cancel it after you’re done. That’s what I’m going to do.

See you guys next week!

Happy Mother’s Day! And Victory in Europe Day (To Everybody ‘Cept Putin)

To those who celebrate. If you don’t, have a nice Sunday.

Unless you’re Vladimir Putin or one of his cronies. Then up yours with a rusty, red hot poker.

As for myself, I’ve had a rough spring. I got a mild case of food poisoning last week and it killed my productivity. I hope to get back in the saddle this week and have a real update for you next Sunday.

See you next week!

Capitalism Works!

I would like to thank Elon Musk for purchasing Twitter, thereby ensuring its destruction and his bankruptcy, thereby single-handedly restoring both American and Canadian democracy! I only hope, that as Musk dies the death he so richly deserves, that somebody else takes up the Starlink system. According to Ukrainians, they’ve been using it to kick all kinds of Russian ass.

On a more serious but still capitalist note, my dog sitting job has been very busy for the last two weeks. So busy, in fact, that I haven’t had any time for writing. It’s kind of a nice problem to have, actually. At least something I’m doing is successful.

So far, though, this week is quieter and I should have more done for you next week.

See you then!
