I'm a Calgarian, born and raised. I've been working on the universe that Robots and Vampires is based on for nearly fifteen years, depending on how you count, and Robots and Vampires specifically for the last three. I'm working on my next novel, The Standard Tech Case Files: The Black Coats, which will be set in the same universe as Robots and Vampires, but some two hundred years earlier.
I'm a genre writer. I love science-fiction, fantasy, hardboiled detective novels, and anything that's descended from cyberpunk. I'm not too keen on authors that reject these categories, and I intend for my universe to be celebration of genres. Specifically, what TvTropes refers to as the Punk-Punk genres: anything descended from cyberpunk and film noir. Yes, that will include steampunk.
At the end of the day though, I'm just another punk kid from Calgary trying to earn a dime.
