Hello all you happy people! So as I’m sure you know, I’m getting ready to release my webcomic, The Mind-Computer Problem, next Monday.
To help promote the webcomic, I’m releasing some concept art in the lead-up. I will also do a livestream on Friday, showing me drawing the comic’s cover.
This is Bret McGovern, one of the first antagonists Motoko Ishikawa must defeat. By the time of 2075, the United States of America has completely collapsed after nuclear civil war. Canada and Mexico have taken over the country, first as part of United Nations Peacekeeping mission and have now annexed their respective halves of the country.
Not all former Americans like that, however. Bret McGovern is one of them. In response to the Canadian-Mexican annexation of the former U.S., Bret has killed five hundred people (mostly kids), shot up thirty schools, and worse. Like all Americans, he’s enormously fat, but a dangerous bastard nonetheless.
The Canadians have been looking to stop him for sometime, but he always escapes their justice. Ottawa suspects, but cannot prove, foreign interference…
